About Us
Iain Forsyth is the founder and owner of Timber Window Repair Services. He is a time served carpenter with over 40 years experience in the construction industry. He now specialises in the repair and restoration of sliding sash and timber casement windows, a major feature of period properties.
We believe that original sash and casement windows are an irreplaceable part of Britain's architectural heritage. Too often, homeowners are advised to replace these windows by contractors who lack the specialist knowledge to restore them properly.
At TWRS, restoration is always our first option. We combine traditional joinery skills with modern materials and techniques to bring even the most deteriorated windows back to life.
